Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – wet and dry – and there are no extremes of winter and summer.

• The wet season falls between October and April (low season)
• The dry season between May and September (high season).

Temperature is around 25 °C to 35 °C all the year.

The best period is from April to September with an average visibility around 35 m.

December and january corresponds to "Peak Season": the tourist period with however very strong rains ( between 2 - 4h per day.)

Temperatures of the air seldom go down below 25°C throughout the year.

The water temperature ranges throughout the year to Gili between 27 and 32 ° C.

The Gili islands have a microclimate with 300 days of sun per year and the rain mainly the night.

The visibility is between 25 to 40 meters under water (25 m is only during the peak season).

The types of dives are very varied: Reefs, drop offs, caves, wrecks,walls, sharks, manta, turtles...
